It's been a real rollercoaster of a week. Year 2 seems to be passing so quickly, you just learn thing after thing and then realise you've forgotten the previous thing but then again, you have no time to go back to anything so yeAhhs. Every morning i don't wanna get out of bed, keep snoozing the alarm haha.

My project seems to be picking up though and hopefully i can work on it a bit more later too. I'm glad that i am finally making some progess :)

Went to Ikea on Thursday and managed to get another shoe rack and coat stand. Ikea is in croyden. It's really similar to the singapore one though! Complete with the sweedish meatballs and hotdog stand. Had to lug wooden planks around though cause we shopped after that. Shopping outside london is good. Managed to get two shoes and a skirt :)

Friday was my first time leading a bible study. Initially i found it a bit awkward and daunting but i'm glad that it went better after i stopped relying on myself and what i had prepared and just let it flow. I'll keep working at it!! Haha This coming week's one seems quite hard though!! (Hebrews 1) Had a hospital visit on Friday too. Our visit lasted for 37mins (probably less)!! Oh wells. This friday i have a GP visit. Thankfully, mine's no longer at kent, its in earls court!! But the seminar is in camberwell though. bleurghs. At least its still within London. After the hospital visit i met whui and then we went to get cheryl's present (benefit lipgloss set :)) and then we went to chinatown for dimsumm :) Then we went to browse the whole of HMV before i went off for ocf

We celebrated Cheryl's birthday on saturday night :) Hotel meal at mayfair and then we had cake and drinks at burger king leicester square. Met alot of weird drunkards on the way home. London should think of a way to eliminate them. Had a hard time going to greenpark too cause there was an england match at wembley and my tube line originated from there so the train was packed with alcohol reeking vulgar spewing hooligans. (not a nice feeling)

Oh yes and i ran from my place all the way to st john's wood to regent's park and then ran through the park and took a tube home after an hour's run haha. Was thinking of doing that today again except maybe run to the camden side of regent's park but then its raining so yeahs. It's quite fun!! I photocopied and shrunk the map so i could bring it running with me but i kept getting lost in the park haha cause it all looks the samee took me quite some time to find the correct exit since its so huge haha. Wanted to run along regent's canal to primrose hill but i saw alot of weird homeless people along the canal and there was hardly anyone else around so decided against it

Abalone chicken soup :) I could live on soups alone haha they really keep you warm and reminds you of home! Hehe

My salmon fillet garlic pasta i cooked last week :) yummy!!

Cheryl's Birthday

Yesterday was a crazy day. Lessons from 9-4 (with dissection) and then leader's cell after. I was really quite brain dead. Then coming home was so drama. Someone hit their bottle on the glass door of the bus and then the whole thing shattered so eventhough we got on the bus we had to get off. We could hear the thing cracking still after we got off. It was like a panel of totally cracked glass but still hanging up there. In the end the bus couldnt even move off it had to get help cause it would have cracked anytime and probably shatter onto people walking by the road or something when it turned. Hais. So ended up taking 1.5hours to get home then when i got onto the final bus home there was a woman puking on the bus and it totally stunk considered getting off but i decided it was like 12 something already all i wanted to do was to get home, i could tolerate the stench. Don't you agree that this place is just quite screwed up?? Haha. When people think london they think tower bridge, houses of parliament, london eye etc but little do they realise that underneath the beauty of the city, there really is a very ugly side of london that surfaces under the cover of dark. That's what really irks me time and time again. It's ugly.

Cooked myself some duck porridge for lunch :) Ok back to work and project. I really want to get it out of the way soon. Sometimes i wonder if i have too much on my hands to handle and give 100% to everything i do. but oh wells, something that i was reminded of last week, God never tests you beyond what you can bear.

Ok i should stop slacking
